Diving or snorkeling at Tortuga Island, near Isabela Island in the Galapagos, offers a remarkable underwater experience with a diverse array of marine life. The island’s clear, calm waters provide an ideal environment for encountering various species.


Divers or snorkelers can observe graceful sea turtles gliding through the water alongside playful sea lions, while keeping an eye out for different species of sharks, including white-tip reef sharks and hammerheads. Colorful tropical fish dart among vibrant coral gardens, while larger pelagic species add excitement to the experience.
