Over 8 days and 7 nights, you’ll explore 4 islands, stay on 3 inhabited islands, enjoy 4 immersions in prime snorkeling and diving spots, and hike through stunning volcanic landscapes, a perfect balance for those who love the ocean’s marine life but also want to connect with the islands’ unique wildlife and habitats.

This itinerary has been carefully designed to respect nature and protect the fragile ecosystems of the Galapagos Islands. 

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Upon your arrival to the Galapagos Islands, our representative will be waiting for you to welcome you and transfer you to “Los Gemelos”; explore the “Twin Craters,” which are large sinkholes formed by magma chamber collapses

Discover the giant tortoise reserve ranch, which is home of the impressive giant tortoises. Walk along nature trails, observe these majestic creatures in their environment and learn about their conservation. You will join a group with our expert naturalist guide to explore the surroundings. Then enjoy lunch at the restaurant surrounded by nature and taste Galapagos coffee and tea.

Later visit Charles Darwin station and learn about the projects of conservation as well as visit the giant tortoise breeding center where you can observe baby tortoises in different stages of life.

After this visit you will go to check in at your hotel in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island.

Upon availability, the dive spots may include: North Seymour, Mosquera, Daphne, Floreana, and Gordon Rocks.

In these areas, it is common to encounter hammerhead sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, corals, a wide variety of fish, and especially macrofauna.

This day you will start early morning and start your day over a yatch which will take you to the diving spot, you will have 2 immersions and lunch is provided, as well the full diving equipment, snacks, water.

Normally you will start at 7 am and finish around 3pm

Travel to Isabela Island by a speedboat to observe a wonderful landscape that offers the volcanic escenario of the island and within 2h you will be in the west part of the Galapagos, the most natural island where there is a town that lives in harmony with wildlife. 

Immediately you will start an amazing excursion to the tunnels zone, one of the most spectacular places in Galapagos for snorkeling and appreciating the landscape. After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at the place where the water is shallow, calm, and very clear to observe the rock formations that a series of arches and tunnels has produced from volcanic eruptions, where nowadays a large number of Galapagos endemic species inhabit.

During this tour, you can observe: white-tip shark caves, blue-footed boobies with their chicks, penguins, sea lions, seahorses, rays, a variety of fish, and along the way, manta rays are also often spotted.

You will enjoy lunch on board, we will provide snorkel equipment (fins + mask), towels, snacks, fruits, water and underwater photos.

 

This day you will explore Sierra Negra volcano, the volcano that has one of the largest active calderas in the world. This day is a hiking experience where you will learn about the origin of the islands, the formation, the geology as well as observe Darwin`s finches and mockingbirds. 

This day you will have spectacular views. Either you are begginer or advanced hiker you will enjoy this day since you can choose between an easy trail or longer one.

This day you will also have the option to do horseback riding (if you choose the option).

Later enjoy a picnic in front of the caldera with a delicious box lunch provided. 

In the afternoon you will have a bay tour,  which consists of a smooth boat ride alongside Isabela Bay to observe blue footed boobies,fregate birds, pelicans, Galapagos penguins the second smallest penguin in the world, then disembark to te islet  to walk over lava fields and observe baby iguanas as well a chennel with white tip reef sharks, later to explore a beach where usually baby sea lions rest, and finally a snorkelling session with sea turtles and marine life.

Discover the beauty of the Galapagos wetlands, home to flamingos and other birds. Hike the trails to observe these elegant birds in their natural environment.
A perfect combination of nature and history in a single self-guided tour, we provide bicycles and transfers to the wetland route so you can explore this landscape at your own pace.

Then later you will take a flight in a small plane to San Cristobal Island for your next experience.

After 45 min you will arrive to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno the city of San Cristobal Island and you will have a moment to explore the area, observe sea lions around.

Kicker Rock ranks as the second most renowned dive spot across the entire archipelago. This site stands among the world’s finest dives and holds a coveted position on the bucket list of numerous underwater enthusiasts.

Participants can explore vibrant underwater ecosystems teeming with diverse marine life, including colorful fish, sea turtles, and even sharks such as hammerhead sharks, Galapagos Sharks, sea lions. The unique rock formation provides an intriguing backdrop for underwater adventures, making it a must-visit destination for diving enthusiasts.

You will have lunch onboard and 2 immersions.

OPTION 1: ESPAÑOLA ISLAND
Early morning departure from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (San Cristobal Island) on a comfortable and well-equipped yacht.
Sailing to Española Island, which usually lasts approximately 2 hours.
Guided walk along well-marked trails, where you can observe seabird colonies, including Galapagos albatrosses (present between April and December), blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, and swallow-tailed gulls.
Lunch: Return to the yacht to enjoy a buffet lunch with fresh, local options.
The visit a white-sand beach ideal for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Activities include snorkeling and swimming in crystal-clear waters, where you can see sea lions, colorful fish, sea turtles, and, with luck, whitetip sharks and rays.

OPTION 2: VISIT ISLA LOBOS in a half day tour

The tour begins with a boat transfer from the port of San Cristóbal to this fascinating island,known for its rich marine fauna and stunning natural landscapes.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided walk along the island’s trails, where you can observe a large population of sea lions in their natural habitat.
The island is a sanctuary for these playful mammals, which can be seen resting and playing on the beach and nearby rocks.
The tour also includes a snorkeling session in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the island. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant marine life, swimming among tropical fish, rays, and sea turtles. The waters around Sea Lion Island are ideal for snorkeling due to their clarity and diversity of marine life.
Includes: transportation, guide, snack, snorkeling equipment.

This day you will get ready to travel to the mainland, you will have a transportation that will take you to the airport.
